F.A.Q.
When will you send the supplies list?
Most school supplies are included in the school fees paid to the school. Academic books are provided or loaned to students by the school. Parents need to purchase the items on the pencil case list. Please ensure your child has all pencil case items during the year, so check and replace items often. This pencil case list is below.
Forms 2 and above will require their own laptop. Any laptop less than three years old will work well.
Let us help the environment and make children more conscious of what they have by considering whether your child truly needs a new backpack, lunchbox, etc. Often, last year’s one can continue to be used.
When will you tell us which classroom our children are in?
In the third week of August.

8:00am to 1:00pm. Monday to Thursday
8:00am to 1:30pm. Friday
Kinder students should be collected between 1:00pm and 1:15pm Monday to Thursday; and between 1:30pm and 2:00pm on Friday. Please note late collection fees are charged, more information can be found in the Family Handbook.
There is a limited bus route at 1:00pm, please do contact bus@wingate.edu.mx for more information. All Kinder students who need to remain at school until 2:45pm or use the bus at 2:45pm must register for Kinder extended hours.
Kinder extended hours (1:00pm to 2:45pm Monday to Thursday)
We offer extended hours for K1, K2, and K3 starting from the first day of school.
The programme runs from Monday to Thursday, from 1:00pm to 2:45pm. Students will have a lunch break (for Kinder the cafeteria hot lunch is served during this time) and engage in supervised free play, mostly outdoors. We believe this playtime is not only beneficial for their physical well-being but also provides an opportunity for them to socialise and develop skills.
There is a fee of $5,200 for the first semester.
Please enrol for Kinder Extended Hours here: https://forms.gle/LMNRDNRugSmhjHMBA
The deadline to enrol is August 9th and the deadline to pay the first semester’s fee is August 15th.
There are limited activities available to Kinder students at the same time as Kinder extended hours. More information and enrolment details is provided in the ECA document.

8:00am to 1:30pm. Friday

Cafeteria service and lunch
An optional hot lunch will be available each day between Monday and Thursday. Enrolment is on a bi-monthly basis.

In the post following this note, you will be able to enroll to the hot-lunch program covering the period from August 27th to October 24th, 2024. Payment must be made on Monday, August 26th at the school.

Alternatively, you can send a packed lunch with your child. The school cafeterias have a microwave for their lunch if needed.

Please print and sign the contract and return it to school before or on August 26th. All sections of the form should be completed and every page must be signed.
The school will not be able to provide the bus service until the contract is signed. We appreciate your cooperation.

Carpool 2024-2025
Please ensure that by August 9th you upload onto Algebraix the carpool information (if applicable) as well as the people authorised to collect your children from school. We would like to stress the importance of this; this information is vital to have beforehand so we can plan dismissal safely and appropriately.
The school has set up a shared document where families can register their interest in carpooling. This can help you find other families to arrange a carpool. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sKIfw9szAZnWtTEjZRlyyQPwpT-nbT5Zv4yHE86Ai9Y/edit?usp=sharing
The road approaching the school is very congested and at certain times the school can cause a lot of traffic problems in the area. Therefore, those dropping-off and picking-up students by car must have at least three students in the vehicle. This is not applicable for Kinder.
Carpooling is a great and practical way of demonstrating social responsibility in this very busy city.
Family Handbook 2024-2025
The Family Handbook is available always under “archivos compatidos” on Algebraix. Please read it carefully as we expect families to adhere to it.

ECAs INFORMATION
Download the ECA catalogue here. As of P1, the school tuition fee includes an ECA, with some exceptions: https://wingate.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/ECAs-Sep-2nd-to-Dec-19.pdf
The registration link to enroll will be sent via Algebraix on Tuesday, August 20 at 9:00 am.
ECAs will start on September 2nd, 2024

Class chat
In mid-August, the school will set up class WhatsApp groups. If you DO NOT want to be added please let ecasas@wingate.edu.mx know before July 31st. WhatsApp is not an official communication channel. Remember that the school’s main communication channels are the Wingate’s Weekly newsletter, emails and Algebraix.

What is Algebraix?
A web-based school management platform. All parents have a username. If you have not received a username, or cannot remember it, please contact Algebraix on ayuda@algebraix.com to have it reissued.
Access Algebraix on www.wingate.algebraix.com
Please also download the app.
Much of our communications are via Algebraix, where you can also view report cards, request dismissal permissions, see your account statement, pay school fees, and be informed of other matters.
It is very important that you ensure your contact information, including your fiscal tax information, is correct. Please go to the main menu, personal data, “datos de facturación”. If the billing information is incorrect, the system will automatically generate a receipt instead of a factura and the school will not be able to modify this or request previous facturas.
You should also upload the people who are authorised to collect your child. Please go to main menu, name of your child, then authorize contacts.
How do I use Algebraix?
On Friday August 23rd at 9:00am, please join an online presentation on Google MEET: https://meet.google.com/ywt-isys-rxi
They will cover
- How to log-in for the first time
- How to update your contact information
- How to check the fiscal information (RFC) that is on file and check your facturas
- How to generate permissions for dismissal
- How to view your account statement and make payments with the correct reference
How can I make payments through Algebraix?
The only payment made into the school’s main HSBC account is the initial inscription payment.
All subsequent payments should be made using Algebraix.
TO PAY VIA CREDIT CARD
If you would like the school to charge monthly tuition fees directly to a Visa/Mastercard, we need you to register the card on Algebraix.
Please “tokenize” your card. You can find instructions on how to do so on this link:
https://rb.gy/x4ur7 or in these PDF guidelines:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/144YeBnlAV3JWyR9Mdjj9b06OAwO59SbY/view?usp=sharing
Once your card is authorised, the upcoming payment will be made automatically to your card.
If you want to pay fees with an American Express card, please contact Ms Yasmin on
TO PAY VIA BANK TRANSFER
Download your child’s unique CLABE (each pupil as a different one). The CLABE does not change.
Each month, a different reference number is provided, that one does change.
This short video details how to pay using STP (the referencing system)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoaHqwTsGkQ&t=6s
It is very important that you pay with these unique details so that we can ensure that your payment is identified. The school will not be responsible for incorrectly referenced payments.
