Optional PTCs Meeting on September 29th

PTCs & PSTCs

Dear parents,

We cordially invite you to the Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) scheduled for September 29th. They present an invaluable opportunity to discuss your children’s progress and performance with their respective teachers.

Single Date: PTCs will be held exclusively on September 29th, and no appointments will be scheduled for other dates. We kindly request that you take this into consideration.

In-Person Attendance: PTCs will be conducted in person at our premises. There will be no option for virtual meetings via Zoom or other online platforms.

Punctuality is Key: Timely arrival at your scheduled appointment is crucial. Late arrivals may result in delays for subsequent appointments.

Although PTCs are generally optional, some of you may receive an email from the teacher inviting you to meet (based on your child’s/children’s progress thus far) at designated times.

  1. Child-Free Meetings: Please remember that PTCs are intended for discussions between parents and teachers regarding your children’s academic progress. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in refraining from bringing children to these meetings to create a focused and productive environment.

Information for Secondary PSTCs

Friday’s Parent Student Teacher Conference (PSTCs) are entirely optional. To ensure a controlled flow of families throughout the day, students have been divided into three groups: those with last names starting from A to D (8:00 AM – 9:45 AM); F to N (9:45 AM – 11:45 AM); and O to W (11:45 AM – 1:30 PM). Sign-up sheets will be posted outside each teacher’s classroom at the beginning of each group’s allotted time. You can reserve a 10-minute slot on a first-come, first-served basis.

While PSTCs are generally optional, some of you may receive an email from Mr. Vinay before close of business on Monday, inviting you to meet with specific teachers (based on your child’s/children’s progress so far) at designated times.

Please note that in Secondary, we require students to accompany their parents to the conferences, recognizing their greater responsibility for their own learning.

Lastly, we kindly request that you be mindful of both the time and the time limit. Use your judgment when selecting which teachers to meet. Discussing your child(ren)’s progress in each subject with them will help you decide whether to attend and, if so, which teachers/subjects to prioritize. This will assist us in maximizing the number of meetings we can accommodate in the day.

Parking

There is no available parking at the school. Please use the IMSS parking lot on the road to the school, located on the right-hand side, one kilometer before reaching the school. A school shuttle bus will operate between the parking lot and the school every 15 minutes. [Map link: https://goo.gl/maps/U5dqwRJ5w7oyng4ZA]

The parking fee is $20 pesos in cash, payable directly to the guard. Unfortunately, we have had instances of non-payment and unkind behavior towards the guard, which not only reflects poorly on the individual but also on the school as a whole.

Please avoid parking in staff parking spaces on the other side of the G500 or behind the G500 (alongside the ranch wall) as your car may be towed. If you have a chauffeur, kindly ensure they do not wait on G500 or ranch property as these areas are private and must remain clear for truck maneuvering. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
